Hey, Gail,
I somehow came accross your blog while searching "Discrete Math" on Google, and upon first impression, you are AWESOME. I am a second year Computer Science undergrad, and I love your stand on women in engineering,and that there should be more women in the feild of technology - I don't get it either.
I also love that you endorse programs like Alice - in high school, that is what jogged my interest into programming and logic. It made learning the syntax and theory so much easier once I got started!
Anyway, I love what you've had to say!!! Good luck with your studies!! :)

I am studying at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. I know we have SWE on our campus, but I'm not entirely sure about WISE. I believe we do? Anyway, I may have to do some research into these groups. :)
